Oh Yes, I DO!

It's not a secret--I like Wine!  It's my
hobby along with my fiber activities.
This past weekend we celebrated all Rose' wines
so many to taste so little time!

The event was held at Horseshoe Bay Resort,
located in the heart of Texas Hill country--
what a good location!
Here is my Rose' shirt--I don't do Pink so
settled with gray with pink lettering--
got to have a shirt to go along with event

Yes, the wines are pink--or Rose'--some
peachy colored--depends on how long the skins are
allowed to sit on the juice.
Our large drinking vessel for those 'tiny' pours
from 45 different wineries

In the background is the main hotel and surrounding
area contains villas--so many amenities!

Tents! Tents! Tents!  Lots of Rose' wine to sample!

Behind the scenes look--this was a perfect
location--we're looking forward to 2019!

WIPs

WIP=Works In Progress
Always something ready to be sewn, cut out,
stitched, bound, finish................

Here is my small stack of Tumblers left over from the quilt above
This is a leader-ender project from Quiltville.  I think there is
plenty here to finish up a quilt

I traced the patterns to Fatcat Patterns for her whimiscal
Gnomes--a Christmas theme--haven't even printed off the
Halloween one

I do have some trees pressed on fabric just waiting for when
I sit to cut out.  I try to have several of these ready for the scissors
Pat Sloan has these small quilts for each month--
Button Club patterns--more fusible involved

Made in USA flag quilt is one that I would like to have
finished and bound by July 4th
Pat sloan grand ole flag done 3

larger it is the same principal

And last to not least--this oversized block is just waiting for
me to complete the half blocks that will finish up this

Year And Four Months.............

We all have those projects that linger in the stash bin...
some of mine seem "ancient"!  I was so excited to
finally finish this one..

An easy way to make a
quilt is a block a month--but that does take a
whole year or longer to wrap it up
as a Quilt.  These blocks came from

She is hosting another BOM tis year
I don't do Pink but somehow I had these
fabrics in my stash--found some green too
and tried to use ALL the pink I could find.
Someone will like it---I hope!

One Tuesday in Magnolia

The sun finally came out to make our day even better!
On this Tuesday several of the expatcher group gathered
to share their projects--some ongoing, some
very much aged!

Annette was working on her small blocks, using
her birthday fat quarters of naturals.

Judy found these trees in the bottom of her stash bin--
object--finish two small hangings

A close-up of Brenda's purple/green quilt that was
just quilted--lovely!

Brenda decided to make a shamrock quilt, using a
table runner pattern--she added blocks!

The quilting of Brenda's Valentine quilt below

"Love" this!!

Judy is making baby blankets with flannel--
two pieces of 45" sandwiched and blanket
stitched by hand

This is the quilted pattern on Camilla's quilt
below

Nine Patch mixup, I call it!
Two nine patches, one with dark in the corners,
the other with light in the corners

cut across diagonally and vertically
and then mix up!

what about a happy crayon quilt!!

Ready to go on Judy's long arm

Talk about complicated--oh whoa!
these will go into a table runner
Always a good day to spend with expatchers!

1-2-3--Done! Right!

Holy Smokes!  It's Friday the 13th!
Beware.............

January, February, March--all three blocks are finished for
the Clementine quilt.
I goofed up with February, but did make it right--
January block was more time consuming--it would
be helpful IF I read the instructions correctly and carefully before
beginning!

The block instructions don't come out till last of the month.
I'm ready for April's block
Here I'm making these 12" finished blocks--so proud of myself
then realize there is also 16" block that should be made to go
into the quilt--well, bummer!  guess I'll see if I can work
those into my schedule sometime down the road--if not,
This will be a very small baby quilt :-]

It's Time--

It’s time to think about greeting cards I’ll send out this year.  Most years, if I’m not feeling pressed, I’ll create my own cards.  One ye...
